Method 1: Reset to Fix Airpods Battery Drain
As with every other device that has issues, resetting your Airpod is the first cause of action to deal with Airpods battery drain fix. Follow the procedure below.
Step 1: Press and hold the setup button located at the back of Airpods charging case for 15 seconds. Wait till the status light flashes amber a couple of times then white.
Step 2: Reconnect them to your iOS devices and Macs and be sure to activate the double-tap to pause feature and any other feature you had manually activated.
Method 2: Drain Airpods Battery and Recharge
Is your Airpod battery life short? If the method above doesn't work, draining and recharging your Airpods may yield the desired results. Drain the battery by playing music through them continuously without placing them back to the charging case.
Method 3: Unpair and Reconnect Airpods from our Devices
Follow the procedure below.
Step 1: Launch the Settings app on your iPad or iPhone by tapping on it
Step 2: Tap "Bluetooth".
Step 3: Under "My Devices" tap the "Information" button, an 'I' enclosed in a circle beside your Airpods.
Step 4: Select "Forget this Device".
Step 5: Confirm by tapping "Forget Device".
Step 6: Tap "Forget Device" to confirm disconnect with iCloud on other devices. This unpairs them from your Mac and iPad.
To unpair Airpods only from your Mac, hold down the Alt key, click Bluetooth located on the menu bar, click your iPods then click "Remove" and confirm by clicking "Remove".
Reconnect your Airpods by following the procedure below.
Step 1: Open your Airpods charging case next to your iPhone.
Step 2: Tap "Connect" on the "Control Center" pop-up that appears.
