1. In the left pane of the Outlook.com window, click the Deleted folder.

2. Outlook.com will recover as many messages as possible and put them in your Deleted folder. If you don't see the deleted messages that you wanted, it means they are permanently lost.

For Hotmail Users: How Undelete Mail Lost from Hotmail

Hotmail has a "Deleted" folder that stores deleted items and allows you to recover them. Remember that Hotmail purges "Trash Cans" on a regular basis.

1. Sign into Hotmail and Hit the "Mail" tab on the page that appears.

2. Click on the "Deleted" folder in the left column.

3. Put a check mark in the box next to the message that you want to recover.

4. Select "Move to" and then choose the folder where you want to place the message.

Recover Yahoo Mails Lost Even From Trash Bin (Deleted in the last 7 days):

Method 3: Restore Deleted Email from PST Backup (Only For Outlook)

PST (Personal storage table) is basically a file format that is used to store Outlook data (message, calendar, contacts and other Outlook items). When your mails in Outlook are permanently lost, you can only restore them from PST backup.

1. Make a duplicate copy of Outlook PST file and open Hex Editor.

2. Open PST file with Hex Editor from which you want to recover emails.

3. In the column on the right side overwrite character position 7 through 13 with spaces. In the hexadecimal numbering system, this corresponds to 13 positions and not 6. When done correctly, the hexadecimal column (left column) block 7 through 13 will then display 20 (hexadecimal value for a space).

4. Delete the position 7 through 13 with the space bar. In the Hexadecimal system, this process actually deletes 13 characters at the following positions:

6. Save the *.pst file and close the Hex Editor.

7. As you have now corrupted your pst file, you'll need to run scanpst.exe to repair it.

8. When scanpst.exe has repaired your pst file, open it in Outlook and look in the Deleted Items folder or in the original folder to locate your recovered items.
